Blue Mountain Chalet Rental Information
Everything guests need to know before staying in a Tyrolean chalet or cottage at Biue Mountain
Planning a stay with Tyrolean Village Resorts? This page includes important Blue Mountain chalet rental information to help guests prepare for their visit, including what is provided in each chalet, what to bring, bedding and towel details, BBQ availability, pet policies, security deposits, check-in and check-out times, and guest rules.

What’s Included in Your Chalet
- Our chalets come with a fully equipped kitchen including a standard size fridge, stove, microwave, kettle, coffee maker & filters, pots, pans and cutlery. We do not provide any food items like salt, pepper, spices, oils, etc.
- Our chalets also come with toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, garbage bags, etc. (You may want to bring some coolers as the fridge is only regular sized)
- Specialty items like blenders, electric frying pans, measuring cups, hair dryer, ironing board, etc. are not provided.
Bedding and Towels
- Each bed comes with 2 pillows and a comforter; you must bring your own bed linens, pillow cases and towels.
- When ordered in advance, bedding sets can be provided for $11.30 per bed. Bedding set +a bath towel will be $15 per set.
- Chalets that come with the bed linens and towels provided are our 7 bedroom Luxury cottages #A15, A16, A17

BBQ Availability
- BBQ’s are only provided from May 1 to October 31, there are no BBQ’s during the winter time. Luxury chalets #A15/A16/A17 have BBQs provided all year round.
- During the winter months a BBQ can be rented if organized ahead of time for $95 for the weekend. During the summer months each chalet has a picnic table on the deck but we recommend you bring some folding chairs so that you can fully enjoy the large decks overlooking the mountains.
Chalet Amenities
- Each chalet has a FIREPLACE either gas or electric.
- All major cell phone companies have coverage in the area (Bell, Rogers, Telus)
- FREE WIFI Internet access is available in the chalets.
- All TV’s are SMART TV’s and work with Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc.
- The municipality strictly enforces NO PARKING on the streets. If you need additional parking please inquire at the office.

Booking Process and Deposits
- A 40% deposit is required to confirm your reservation and the Balance is due 30 days prior to arrival. The chalet rental fee is non refundable if cancelled within 30 days prior of your arrival date. Reservations made less than 30 days before arrival and subsequently cancelled are non refundable. If the reservation is made within 30 days prior to arrival date, the full amount is due at the time of booking. A 3% credit card processing fee will be charged for cancellations made 30 days prior to arrival.
- SECURITY DEPOSIT – a $1,500 security deposit is required upon check in. The security deposit is a pre authorization on a credit card and will expire after your check out, no charges will appear on your credit card, as long as there were no damages or problems during your stay (As per signed rental agreements).
Maximum Occupancy and Guest Rules
- MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY – Your chalet was rented to you based on an understanding of the number of people that will be staying in the chalet. No guests or visitors are allowed in the chalet. Violation of this rule will result in loss of your security deposit and possible eviction.
Age Restrictions
- AGE RESTRICTIONS – In order to rent a chalet you and your group must be at least 25 years of age unless you are a family with children or have received approval from the Manager. High School graduation events are strictly prohibited.
Municipal Noise and Hot Tub Rules
- MUNICIPAL REGULATIONS – We ask that you please be considerate of your neighbors and observe respectable behaviour. Therefore amplifiers and high volume sound systems are not permitted. All music/noise must be kept at a reasonable level inside the cottage. The management reserves the right to evict tenants for disruptive behaviour. Please note that the area has 24/7 noise-bylaws. Hot tub hours are restricted, operating hours are 7am- 11pm only.
Check-In and Check-Out
- CHECK OUT PROCESS – Before leaving your cottage, please make sure you have left nothing of value. We cannot be responsible for these items. Please also close all windows, turn off all lights, clean all your dishes and put them away and return all furniture to its original place. Please bag all your garbage and drop off at the garbage bins beside the Volleyball courts on Tyrolean Lane. A cleaning charge will be deducted from your security deposit if the cottage has not been left in a satisfactory condition.
- CHECK IN/ CHECK OUT TIME – CHECK IN time is between 4:00 PM and 7 PM on the day or arrival and CHECK OUT is 11:00 AM on the day of departure. If you wish to make alternative arrangements regarding these times please inquire at the office. Based on availability, a late check out until 3 PM can sometimes be arranged for an additional $50 + tax fee. Upon check out please bring all keys to the office
Pet Policy
- PET POLICY – Tyrolean Village Resorts is a limited pet friendly resort, our Swiss Style Chalets allow pets. Any mess or pet hairs left behind as a result of a pet will result in an automatic, minimum $150 cleaning charge. We recommend you bring a small vacuum to clean up after your pet. There is no charge for pets but we expect the chalet to be left without any mess from a pet (pet hair especially). No pets allowed in our Luxury cottages #A15/A16/A17
