Where can a company hold a retreat at Blue Mountain?
Tyrolean Village hosts company retreats for 6 to about 50 people in private chalets at the base of Blue Mountain, about 2.5 hours from Toronto. Our 7-bedroom luxury chalets sleep 14 each, with most bedrooms having a private bathroom, and sit side by side for teams of up to 42; chalet #54 sleeps 20 under one roof. Open-plan living rooms and long dining tables double as meeting space, with Wi-Fi and smart TVs for presentations, and Blue Mountain Village is a 10 to 20 minute walk for team dinners.

Meeting space inside the chalet
The chalets are built around open-concept living and dining areas. The luxury chalets’ long dining tables seat the team as a boardroom table, the smart TVs take a laptop for presentations, and there’s high-speed Wi-Fi throughout. Breakouts happen in the family room, on the deck or around the fireplace. For a larger seminar or a conference-style day, we connect groups with partner venues near Blue Mountain that have proper event space. Team building on the doorstep
On site there are volleyball and soccer fields, a baseball diamond and, in summer, our private beach on Georgian Bay for the team. Blue Mountain Village is a 10 to 20 minute walk for dinner, après-ski and evening plans, with no shuttle or designated driver needed. Within a short drive there’s the Scandinave Spa, Scenic Caves, zip lines, golf at Duntroon Highlands, axe throwing, and brewery and winery tours; several offer Tyrolean guests a discount. In winter the ski hills are a 7 to 10 minute walk away.
Practical details for the organizer
A booking takes a 40% deposit, with the balance due 30 days before arrival, and we take credit cards, e-transfers and certified cheques. Each chalet has a $1,500 security deposit hold at check-in and a maximum occupancy that applies to the people staying in it. The minimum stay is 2 nights (3 over holidays), and midweek retreats in fall and spring get the lowest rates and the most choice of dates. For meals, every chalet has a full kitchen and BBQ in season, and private chefs and caterers will come to the chalet.
