Where Sports Teams Stay at Blue Mountain: One Address for the Whole Roster

Blog · October 1, 2026 · By the Tyrolean Village team, family-run at Blue Mountain since 1964

A tournament weekend goes better when the team is together: one address, one kitchen, one place for the pre-game meal and the post-game debrief. Our chalets at the base of Blue Mountain hold a whole roster under one roof, or a full club across houses next door to each other, with playing fields on the property.

Fit the whole roster

Team sizeSetupWhy it works
Up to 208-bedroom chalet #548 bedrooms, 15 beds, 3 baths, hot tub, indoor cedar sauna, rec room, parking for 8 vehicles
Up to 20FO1 + FO2 duplexTwo 4-bedroom cottages in one building: players in one, parents or coaches in the other
Up to 28Two luxury chalets14 beds each, next door to each other, washer and dryer, hot tub
Up to 42All three luxury chaletsMatching houses side by side: one per team, or one per age group

Every player gets a real bed, and nobody is spread across a hotel corridor. More combinations are on our large group rentals page and in how booking several chalets together works.

Fields on the property

Tyrolean guests have the use of our own sand volleyball court, a soccer field and a baseball diamond, and sports equipment may be available on request, so ask at the office. The municipal tennis and basketball courts are a 5 to 10 minute walk away. That covers a light practice, a walkthrough, or just somewhere for the team to burn off the bus ride. In summer, our private beach on Georgian Bay is about five minutes’ drive and reserved for our guests.

Feed a team without a restaurant bill

Each chalet has a full kitchen, with pots, pans, a coffee maker and a dining area sized for the house, so the team eats together for the cost of groceries. Fridges are standard size, so bring a cooler or two for a group of 20. BBQs are on the decks from spring to fall, and the luxury chalets have them all year. If the parents would rather not cook, private chefs and caterers will bring the meal to the chalet, and Blue Mountain Village is a 10 to 20 minute walk for a team dinner out.

Recovery, laundry and parking

Chalet #54 has a private hot tub and an indoor cedar sauna, and each luxury chalet has its own hot tub; hot tubs close at 11 PM under the town bylaw. The luxury chalets have a washer and dryer for uniforms between games. Parking is on site at every chalet (8 vehicles at #54, 4 at each cottage), and the town doesn’t allow parking on the street, so tell us how many vehicles are coming. If you’re arriving by coach bus, call the office first and we’ll sort out where it goes.

What it costs per player

A weekend night in chalet #54 is about $1,600 before tax, which is about $80 a player for a team of 20. Midweek it’s often about $1,000, or $50 each. Prices for every chalet are in our price guide. Booking direct means no platform fee on top.

Good to know for team managers

Check-in is 4 to 7 PM at our office on Grey Road 19; if the game schedule has you arriving later, call before you leave and we’ll arrange your keys. The minimum stay is 2 nights (3 on holiday weekends), and large groups can sometimes book a single night, depending on availability. Youth teams stay with their parents or coaches, and adult groups must be 25 or older unless the manager approves otherwise. Each chalet has a maximum number of guests and a $1,500 security deposit held at check-in, and the town’s noise bylaw applies around the clock. In the Swiss-style chalets you bring your own bed sheets, pillowcases and towels, or order bedding sets ahead; the luxury chalets include them. The full list is in minimum stay and check-in.

To see what’s open, pick your dates on any chalet page and enter your headcount: for a group bigger than one chalet, the site shows which chalets are free for those dates and sends us your request. Or call (416) 213-7437.
