What is the best accommodation at Blue Mountain for a group?

Last reviewed October 2026 · By the Tyrolean Village team, family-run at Blue Mountain since 1964

Short answer

For a group, the best accommodation at Blue Mountain is a private chalet or cottage, because everyone stays in one house instead of separate hotel rooms. At Tyrolean Village our chalets sleep 8 to 20 under one roof, or up to 42 side by side, a 7 to 10 minute walk from the ski hills and 10 to 20 minutes on foot from Blue Mountain Village.

Where you are staying

The chalets sit at the base of Blue Mountain in The Blue Mountains, Ontario, about 2.5 hours from Toronto. The ski hills are a 7 to 10 minute walk, or a 1 to 2 minute drive, and Blue Mountain Village, with its restaurants and shops, is 10 to 20 minutes on foot. In summer our guests have a private beach on Georgian Bay about five minutes away by car. Check-in is at our office on Grey Road 19.

What accommodation costs, and how to book

Nightly rates run from about $375 midweek for the 4-bedroom apartment to about $1,950 on a weekend for a luxury chalet, before tax. The full ranges are in our price guide. The minimum stay is 2 nights, or 3 over holidays. Pick your dates on any chalet page to see the price and send a request, or call (416) 213-7437. For a group bigger than one chalet, enter your headcount and the site shows which chalets are open for those dates.
